Vålandstårnet

The Tower of Våland (Vålandstårnet) in Stavanger is located 84 meters above sea level on Vålandshaugen. Before today’s tower was built, there was a lookout tower on this square.
Vålandstårnet is one of the city’s landmarks, a special building in a great location that deserves to be used. Here is a 360 degree view of the city within walking distance of the center. There are open Sunday cafés in Vålandstårnet.
In 2015, the Våland tower was finally restored.
